Things to Note:
Once this form is submitted, a HSCO representative will contact you within 1-2 business days to schedule an appointment. We know this is a difficult decision, but please be thoughtful about the time that this process will take. Avoiding a rush when possible will ultimately result in a less stressful experience for you and your pet.
We will make every effort to schedule intakes in as timely a manner as possible. However, depending on the volume of requests, individual needs of the animal, and current HSCO resources, appointments may be scheduled as far out as two weeks (or longer in some circumstances.)
Emergency Surrenders:
HSCO will always be here for community members experiencing crisis and/or emergency. Emergency and same day intakes will be considered on a case-by-case basis. If possible, please submit an intake request form to expedite intake. Call the shelter at 541-382-3537 ext. 0 for immediate assistance.
For the most expedited service possible, please fill out the appropriate intake request form prior to calling the shelter.
Don't forget! Post your pet on Home To Home while you are awaiting your intake appointment.
